In the fourth quarter of 2024, the performance of the top news and magazine applications on the Android platform in the Dominican Republic showcased varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides valuable insights into user engagement and app popularity.

X (Formerly Twitter) experienced a steady climb in weekly revenue, peaking at around $1K in early December. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 4.2K at the beginning of October and settling around 3.8K by the end of December. Active users saw a peak in early November at approximately 359K, followed by a gradual decline to 278K.

Hindi News by Dainik Bhaskar maintained consistent download numbers, with a slight increase from 408 at the start of October to 435 by the end of December. Active users also showed a positive trend, increasing from 8.7K to over 10K during the quarter.

Noticias Telemundo saw a significant spike in downloads in mid-November, reaching nearly 4K, before returning to its usual levels. Active users mirrored this pattern, with a sharp increase to 2.7K in November and a subsequent decrease.

Dailyhunt - News & Magazines experienced a steady stream of downloads, averaging around 250 per week. Active users remained stable, hovering around 13K throughout the quarter.

Way2News Daily News App showed a gradual increase in downloads, peaking at 407 in early December. Active users grew from 13.6K to 16.2K, indicating a growing user base.
